My Agent says I need to add some endorsements to my policy. What is that?
An endorsement is a fancy way of saying a change to your policy. Some endorsements are things that are added to the policy after it was written, like adding an additional insured for a contract you added or an address change. It is basically just an amendment, whether it's something you pursue after you purchase the policy or something they may already come on the policy when you purchase it.
Most endorsements are a change to cover an additional contract so it shouldn't be anything scary, even though it may sound like it.
