I have an insurance policy but it has exclusions, why? Is that bad?
Exclusions are normal on a policy. What they are is they will exclude specific things. They can be different for each policy. Almost every policy has standard exclusions, exclusions that automatically apply like nuclear disasters, earthquakes, etc. There can be more specific exclusions that apply to your business as well and for those you should ask questions.
The term exclusions typically have a negative connotation when it comes to policies, but it doesn't necessarily mean it's negative. For example, if you are an electrician, it might mean you are not covered for water damage because you don't have any hand in water work.
Ask your agent as they are there best resource if you have any doubt.
